Another Wed Challenge is upon us at ATS and this week it's 'anything goes'. So I decided to make a 'trio' of cards using the gorgeous Laugh Lines that I have. They are so happy, how can they not bring joy??? I also used my 'mixed messages' sentiments, my cuttlebug, and just had to add a little butterfly for Laugh Line Bee to blow her raspberry at! So here is my trio...
Having fun with the Wed Challenge.
Happy Craftin' all.

ATS - Wednesday Challenge - Inspiration
Well, over at ATS they have had another inspiration challenge. and this is what I've come up with. This is my first attempt at an easel card, and I think I probably should have gone with a more conventional shape, as I had a bit of trouble. Still, not bad in the end I reckon.
Thnakfully my latest parcel from ATS arrived in the nick of time and I was able to use my new Coffee Brigitta and new mixed messages sentiments. What a cutie she is.
I'm happy in the end, but need a bit more practice with easels!!

ATS -Wed Challenge - COLOUR
This week the ATS Wed Challenge was a colour one - earthy tones of browns, blue and moss green. ONe of my fav colour combos, and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
So, I used paper I've had in my stash for ages, kraft card stock, and the CC Desings Laugh Lines Butterfly - so darn cute! I made a side step card and fussy-cut the flowers to create a garden.
Thanks ATS for the great challenge.

ATS Wed Challenge - Sketch
Well, here we are again for another Wednesday Challenge over at ATS. And this week it is a sketch challenge.
I've started working as a swimming instructor and the bosses b'day is coming up, so I thought I'd use my newly arrived Laugh Lines Marina stamp and make a birthday card. I think she looks smashing.
I coloured the tail using a technique I learned on Amy Y's blog, and while it may not have turned out quite as nice as hers, I think it is still pretty effective.

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Make your own buttons!
Well, I'm not sure I'm going to make this on time, I always get confused with the time difference, but here is my card for the Wed Challenge at ATS this week.
I made this for a little girl's 6th b'day. I think she'll like it.
I used a flower punch for the buttons and cupcake Belle rubber stamp.

ATS Wednseday Challenge - Anything Goes
Over at ATS this week's challenge is an anything goes challenge. I chose to use Sugar Plums Geisha Girl digi stamp and instead of a card I created an OTP. I used a Kaisercraft frame and 'wrapped' it in Japanese papers, stamped a background, and stuck the cutie Geisha on some mounting tape. The flowers in the corner are from the talented Sandie (another Sandie, not me :o) ).
I have to say I'm enjoying the Wednesday Challenge. I'm creating something every week, which is a bit unusual for me.

ATS Wednesday Challenge
This week at All That Scraps the Wednesday Challenge is an inspiration one. Such a lovely photo for us to work with. I was inspired by the country feel, the muted colour palette, and the sunflowers. And that it looked like a great relaxing spot for a cuppa.
And this is what I came up with....
This Kiki La Rue stamp from CC Desings at All That Scraps is such a cheeky little cutie!!
Happy scrapping all!

What a Week!
Well what a week it's been (as in the last 7 days). I have landed a lovely job after being a SAHM for 6 yrs, that fits in with family life (more about that later); I won the Wednesday Challenge at All That Scraps (see post below for my entry) - the first time I've entered a blog challenge; and I've had my first publication come out in Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft (an Aussie wide mag) - it may only be in the reader's gallery, but hey, that's a start right?! The page is here...
My card is "Hello" using CC Designs Swiss Pixies Gretel. How cool is that?!
I'm slowly figuring out this blogging thing, but have a long way to go.
Happy crafting all.

Wednesday Challenge All that Scraps
Well, here I am entering my first ever blog challenge. All That Scraps is having a Christmas in July challenge and I have used their gorgeous Angel Emma digi stamp to create this 'centre step' card. One of the things I love about digis is the fact you can resize them as I did with the 2 side Angels. I think it turned out pretty good. Totally love CC Designs stamps.
As this is my first ever post with a photo I have no idea how this will work out...I guess we'll see. Wish me luck!

Caved In!
Well, I have finally caved in and created a blog. Lord knows how I'll go with it, but you can only try huh? My plan, (and the quote "best laid plans of mice and men..." comes to mind), is to share my crafting designs and become an active member of the wonderful world of craft bogs. I might even enter a few challenges on the way?!?
I guess time will tell.
Hopefully see some people round the traps (or should that be round the blogs!)
